I had doubts due to some of the reviews, but I’m happy I trust my gut and gave Buka a chance. I visited this afternoon, and the food, customer service, hookah, and atmosphere were all exceptional. A special shoutout to the waitress, Dora, who was incredibly sweet and attentive. I’ll definitely be back!

The location is sketchy but inside the restaurant it was clean. My first time trying Nigerian food- I had the Egusi and pounded yam and I have to say it did not disappoint. My waitress was very attentive and reminded me that I needed to eat with my hands . The portion size was large and I had enough to bring home. Unfortunately, my dinner date conversation was good that I forgot to take pics.

This is the fourth African restaurant that I've eaten from, and all the other restaurants were Nasty except exception one. This African restaurant will be my favorite restaurant. The food was so delicious and no weird. aftertaste. I also want to add to my review that when I call in for my food, the beautiful nice young lady who picks up the phone is very kind and she knows her customer's name. That is rare in this world today, so I want to give a big shout out to Ms.Sali Thank you so much for your kindness.

Yesterday I tried this place for the first of many times! I was referred by a patron at another local Nigerian restaurant. Upon entry I was pleased by the aesthetics. I tried a dish (Ewedu) that was recommended by the very nice Yoruba hostess. I got it with goat, pounded yam and a side of Jollof. My total was in the lower $30’s for what was 2 meals for me. The owner was also tentative and gracious but OMG the food was everything! Oh so DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to go back on a weekend (it looks fun) or just the next time I have a Igbo craving!
